Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 13, 2026

MyPostalPay respects your privacy. Our calculators run entirely in your browser, and we use minimal third-party services to run the site. This policy explains what data is collected, by whom, and how it’s used.

Calculator Data Stays on Your Device

We do not collect or store your calculator inputs on any server. MyPostalPay’s calculators are client-side — all pay, FERS, TSP, and leave calculations happen in your browser. Any profile or settings you save using the Save feature are stored only in your browser’s localStorage and never leave your device.

What Stays on Your Device

This data is stored in your browser’s localStorage. It is not transmitted to any server, database, or third party. Clearing your browser data or switching devices will remove this data.

Analytics & Cookies

MyPostalPay uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you visit, how long you spend on them, your approximate location (country/region level), the type of device you use, and how you arrived at the site (for example, from a Google search or a link on Reddit). This data is collected and processed by Google using cookies and similar technologies.

Google Analytics does not collect your name, email address, or other personal identifying information from this site. Your IP address is anonymized. You can opt out of Google Analytics on any website by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. See Google’s privacy policy for more details on how Google handles this data.

Advertising

MyPostalPay displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google AdSense uses cookies to show ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your interests.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendor use of cookies for personalized ads at aboutads.info. For more information on how Google uses data, see How Google uses information from sites that use our services.

Feedback Submissions

If you submit feedback through our feedback form, the information you provide (craft, how you found the site, category, details, and optional email address) is sent to Formspree, a third-party form processing service, along with the page you submitted from and a timestamp. This is the only data that leaves your device, and only when you explicitly choose to submit feedback. See Formspree’s privacy policy for how they handle form submissions.

Email Subscriptions

MyPostalPay does not currently offer an email newsletter or collect email addresses for marketing purposes. The email signup form previously displayed on the site has been removed, all third-party email marketing scripts have been removed from the site, and any subscriber data that was previously collected has been deleted.

Third-Party Services

No other third-party services have access to user data from this site.

Offline Functionality

MyPostalPay works fully offline once installed as a Progressive Web App. When offline, all tools function normally using cached files stored by the service worker in your browser. No data is transmitted while offline. These cached files contain no personal data and can be cleared by uninstalling the PWA or clearing your browser data.

Children’s Privacy

MyPostalPay is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Your Rights

You have the right to know what data is collected about you, to request deletion of that data, and to opt out of targeted advertising. Since MyPostalPay doesn’t collect personal information directly, most of these rights apply to the third-party services listed above — you can exercise them through the opt-out links provided for Google Analytics and Google AdSense.

Changes to This Policy

If we add new data collection, change providers, or make any significant update to our privacy practices, this policy will be revised and the “Last updated” date above will reflect the change. We encourage you to check this page periodically.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

MyPostalPay does not sell or share personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). If you are a California resident and have questions about your rights under the CCPA, you can contact us at the email address below.
